The young loving couple Rose and Michel moves to Paris with dreams of an artistic life. They party at the legendary La Palace nightclub, where life is colorful, decadent and boundless. During one night at the club, they meet a middle-aged couple living in a huge villa outside the city. Soon the four of them embark on a life together full of art, sex and drugs. Love, quarrels and reconciliation fill their unit of four where attraction and jealousy go in all directions. Golden Youth is a sparkling film filled with beautiful costumes, desires and dreams. But it is also a study of the relationship between sex and power.
