Pétanque enthusiast Rikard has a malformation that affects his appearance and ability to communicate. He lives at a home for people with disabilities and it’s been nearly 30-year’s since he was separated from his mother. Now the opportunity arise for him to reunite with her. All he has to do is to win against Denmark in the Nordic championship of pétanque with his friend Roland. Johannes Nyholm’s peculiar feature debut is a imaginative, warm and magical film about fighting against all odds. And, not least, to shift the centre of the universe.

– Daniel Tollefsen Altamirano
