Lasse Åberg’s acclaimed Sällskapsresan is still one of the biggest cinema successes in Swedish film history, loved by its audience and loathed by its critics. The anti-hero Stig-Helmer Olsson goes on a charter trip to the fictional town of Nueva Estocolmo (New Stockholm) on Gran Canaria. On board the flight he meets the Norwegian Ole and as if by chance they are also forced to share a hotel room when they arrive at the resort.
