Silent Film Concert with piano
The silent film Sherlock Jr. (1924) premiered 100 years ago and is a fun and fast-paced film, directed and starred by Buster Keaton, one of the biggest stars of the silent film era. The film tells the story of a movie theater projectionist who accidentally falls asleep during a film screening and is pulled into the movie itself. In his dream, he becomes the master detective Sherlock Holmes, taking on dangerous and exciting missions.
The screening will be accompanied by silent film pianist Edward von Past and will begin with a short film historical introduction.
