Time for a 70s classic written by musical legends Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. This year’s sing-along will be to the film Jesus Christ Superstar!
A theatre troupe travels out into the desert to perform a modern re-enactment of Jesus’ final hours through song. Judas is concerned that Jesus seems more focused on preaching about being the Son of God than on addressing social injustices. He also questions Jesus’ relationship with Mary Magdalene. After being betrayed by Judas, Jesus is brought before Pontius Pilate, who decides that Jesus should be crucified.
