Join us for an exciting space adventure as Ivar the hamster and his robot friend try to outsmart Earth’s gravity and make their way into outer space. Will they make it in time?
Ivar is no ordinary hamster. He’s a curious scientist who builds his inventions from anything he can find at the junkyard where he lives. The local rats mostly think he’s a bit odd—until the day he makes an unexpected discovery: a broken robot that has crash-landed from a spaceship bound for Mars.
Now Ivar has only three days to repair the robot and help it return, or it will be stuck on Earth forever. What follows is an adventure full of creativity, courage, and friendship—a race against both time and gravity itself.
The film is screened in Curiosum’s dome-shaped building, Wisdome Umeå, a domed theater with seating for up to 70 people. We’ll take you on immersive journeys straight into science—out to the farthest reaches of space, into the microscopic world of molecular biology, and behind the scenes of the most spectacular movie effects. Fasten your seatbelts—it’s time for takeoff!
