The journalist Asta returns to work at the daily newspaper after a period of sick leave. At home, her girlfriend is constantly engrossed in some new furniture renovation or playing the piano. One day, Asta reads about a man that after seeking asylum in Norway was rejected and deported from the country after spending about 10 years in it. She begins to dig into the event and the news, perhaps as a way to deal with the trauma from which she herself is recovering.
