A film programme with the filmmaker, performance artist, and artist Lasse Långström a.k.a. Antiffa Vänsterfitta. Together with Gothenburg’s underground queer-avantgarde he took the step into fine art spaces this fall, with the exhibition The Fantasy Forest that was shown at Galleri 54 in Gothenburg and during Cinema Queer in Stockholm.
In his work, unheeded, bodily lust is given an outlet, and through constantly showcasing the communal and its collective powers, films, performances and queer spaces are created for enjoyment. Join us on a cinematic journey where you’re given the opportunity to see a supremely feminine female tacky artistry, intrusive, intimate and boundless. The emotional spectrum is gigantic and in constant rebellion against itself and the world around it.
Lasse Långström, a.k.a. Antiffa Vänsterfitta, has worked with film and within his queer community in Gothenburg for 15 years. For the time being, Långström works a lot in Germany where he creates art, film and queer spaces. All genres and hybrid forms fit inside Lasses cinematic world. Here you can find short- and feature films, anarchist musicals, video works, documentaries, homo porn and music videos. Just in the last two years four films have been shot at a furious pace, showcasing a queer movement and subculture, creating space for a staging of its struggles, conflicts, visions, fantasies, and utopias. It is politically serious and humorous – intermixed into a camp-, kitsch-, fable-, fantasy aesthetic.

by Kleopatra Caztrati & Antiffa Vänsterfitta together with Gothenburg’s Queer Avantgarde. (2020, 32 min, color)
Kleopatra Caztrati meets Antiffa Vänsterfitta. Within the career-driven, individual and identity-obsessed art world that inflates already megalomaniac egos to their breaking point, Kleopatra Caztrati ventures off to Germany in order to create a portrait and cribs story at the home of the female artistic genius Antiffa Vänsterfitta. She is provided unwelcomed help from Berlin’s Autonomous Arts Council in deepening her artist portrait into a polyphonic conversation on the collective, conflict-oriented process that filmmaking actually is.

(2020, 5 min, color, Swedish lyrics)
Far up north in the little country of Sweden, an unholy alliance is forming between the right-wing party, the Christian Democrats, and the racist party. But in the forest the fairytale creatures are waiting, plotting to fight back.
Who will fuck daddy?
by Lasse Långström (2017, 65 min, color, Swedish with English subtitles)
A plunge deep into the collective subconscious where the man’s stinking corpse decomposes into nourishing soil from which we are born again, rising to the surface with a new feminine way of thinking/feeling and with unexpected perversions
