A classic is back in restored form! Kalle Stropp, Boll the Frog, the Parrot, Tin-Niklas and the Fox are all familiar figures to many generations of children in Sweden. Their adventures revolve around exciting and dramatic acts of heroism. Even in this story, they act as heroes whose driving force is the desire to help others. The film’s theme is that technology and commercial thinking threaten our nature and culture.

After the screening, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Folkets Bio Umeå and the 10th anniversary of the Umeå Film Festival with an anniversary party! It will therefore be extra festive with premiere crafts and coffee for all visitors in Mingla, which is right next to the salon.
