Silent Film Concert with piano
The silent film Sherlock Jr. from 1924 celebrates its 100th anniversary and remains a funny and fast-paced classic directed by and starring Buster Keaton, one of the silent film era’s brightest stars. The film follows a movie projectionist who falls asleep during a screening and finds himself drawn into the film playing on screen. In his dream, he becomes the master detective Sherlock Holmes, taking on thrilling and dangerous cases.
This screening will be accompanied by silent film pianist Edward von Past and will begin with a brief introduction on the history of the film.
