It has been five years since a devastating factory fire claimed the lives of eight people in a nameless Serbian small town. Nothing has changed after the tragedy, and the relatives persistently fight for a trial that keeps getting postponed.

Eventually, some of the fire survivors have had enough and demand justice from the ruling trio: the mayor, the factory owner, and the local mafia boss. In their quest for justice, they turn to black magic, and soon strange events begin to occur in the small community.

Serbian avant-garde filmmaker Mladen Đorđević (known for The Life and Death of a Porno Gang) once again offers a glimpse into a world of disturbing absurdities. This is a wild, uncompromising, and boundary-pushing film that had its world premiere at Toronto Film Festival’s Midnight Madness last year. Not recommended for those with a low threshold for shock and disgust.
