The silent camera eye glides elegantly over carpets being hemmed, baklavas being stacked, cars being washed. There is feverish activity on Norra Grängesbergsgatan – day and night. Small-scale industries as well as furniture stores and a Baptist church come together here. Amin Zouiten’s film takes its point of departure in the roughly kilometer-long street in Malmö. The street, which was referred to as a “no-go zone”, is today a place where Malmö’s industrial history and new cityscape intertwine.
