We’re introducing a Youth Pass – for everyone aged 15 to 19!
Do you love film and are between 15 and 19 years old — or do you know someone who fits that description? This year we’re introducing a Youth Pass at Umeå Film Festival. This means that anyone aged 15 to 19 has the opportunity to watch films completely free during the festival. You can pick up your Youth Pass at Folkets Bio Umeå’s ticket counter (floor 4, next to the Museum of Women’s History). We have a limited number of passes – first come, first served!
It’s helpful if you bring an ID or something similar to confirm your age. You’ll receive a physical festival pass to wear around your neck. With the pass, you can collect tickets to screenings at any of the festival’s ticket counters from the moment you’ve picked it up. You may also book a ticket on our website and then collect it at a counter by showing your Youth Pass as payment. The pass is personal, and when you enter a screening you must show both your ticket and your pass.
The Youth Pass also includes a pizza meet-up with us! On Thursday 27 Nov at 17:00, we’re treating everyone who has picked up a Youth Pass to pizza. We meet at the entrance to Vävenscenen on floor 1 in Väven, near the restaurant Kajen. After the pizza hangout, we’ll take a short behind-the-scenes tour of the projection room at Vävenscenen – and then we’ll head in together to watch No Other Choice at Vävenscenen.
Please note! We are giving out a limited number of passes. Don’t wait too long to pick yours up!
The Youth Pass is arranged in collaboration with Umeå Municipality.
