Apply for accreditation!

Starting October 1, anyone working in or studying film can apply for accreditation to the Umeå Film Festival. With accreditation, you can book free tickets to the festival’s screenings and events. The program usually includes around 80 titles across 130 screening slots, and in addition to showing films in our three theaters at Väven, we have several other screening venues around Umeå.

An accreditation costs 350 SEK. We aim to respond to your application within 5 business days. The accreditation application period is open from October 1 until November 17. Click here to apply.

Please note: Accreditation is not required to attend Umeå Film Festival’s Industry Days, organized by Film i Västerbotten. These events are free of charge, and registration is done via Film i Västerbotten. Registration for these events will open later this fall. Accreditation does not include access to the Eraserhead Xiu Xiu performance at Kajscenen on November 29. However, with accreditation, you can purchase a ticket to the performance at a reduced price.
