On Tuesday, November 25, we open Umeå Film Festival with an opening ceremony. We are pleased to announce that this year’s opening film is It Was Just an Accident (Yek tasadef sadeh/ Det var bara en olycka) by the Palme d’Or-winning director Jafar Panahi.

18:30 – Mingle with sparkling wine*, Kajen
19:00 – Speeches & Opening Film, Vävenscenen
*The ticket price includes one glass of sparkling wine and entry to both the mingle and the film screening. When you arrive at Kajen for the mingle, you can collect your drink ticket at the counter by showing your event ticket.
