This program brings together four documentary stories that, in different ways, capture life, dreams, and identity. Here, we meet people who seek new paths, draw on their inner strength, share memories of borders and loss, and find expression through music.
Along a national border in the Caucasus, we meet people who talk about the new border—how it feels and how it affects them. Then we meet Britt-Inger and her alias Signe, who invite us into their lives in Tornedalen. Anders takes us further to the church in Teg, where he shows us the organ and talks about his relationship with it and its music.
We then meet Linnea, who is training to become a truck driver—she teaches us to dare to dream and to be ourselves.
Together, the films in this program create a warm, curious, and multifaceted portrait of reality beyond the noise of the big city.
