With great joy, Film i Västerbotten invites you to celebrate its 30th anniversary during this year’s festival!
For three decades, they have contributed to the development of filmmaking and film culture in Västerbotten. Now it’s time to celebrate together, to look back on the journey and ahead to the future. Take the opportunity to meet both new and familiar faces, share memories, and create new ones.
The evening begins with a welcome mingle featuring bubbles and snacks, followed by the presentation of various awards and grants from Umeå Film Festival and Film i Västerbotten.
The celebration is open to everyone aged 18 and over who wants to join in the festivities!

The evening will feature a welcome mingle with bubbly and snacks, the Umeå Film Festival Short Film Award Storspoven, the School Cinema Audience Award, the Film Hero Grant, a toast to film life in Västerbotten, and of course, great company!
