The result is a dark and absurd story about the mysterious death of factory worker Dorem Clery in the fictional town of Getunkirchenburg. Werner Herzog, who also narrates the film, travels to the town to uncover what happened. As the story unfolds, it becomes increasingly bizarre and incomprehensible — refreshing, puzzling, and deeply thought-provoking.
