A Swedish screwball-style comedy, where a playboy-like director is struck on the head by a golf ball and suffers amnesia – leading to both hilarious mishaps and, of course, true love! The film’s leads, Karin Ekelund and Edvin Adolphson, were one of the great on-screen couples of the 1940s. The direction was handled by first-time feature filmmaker Hasse Ekman, who went on to become one of Swedish entertainment’s most prolific multi-talents for many years. The title song, central to the film’s plot and recurring in several versions, was composed by Kai Gullmar and went on to become a hit.
