About the film:
There is a theory that man is born with half a per mille too little. We all know that alcohol in the blood opens the mind to the outside world, the problems seem less and creativity increases. After the first glass, the conversations flow more easily and new opportunities open up. Martin is a high school teacher. He feels old and tired and his marriage has come to a standstill. Encouraged by the theory, Martin and his three friends begin an experiment to be constantly under the influence of alcohol. If Churchill won World War II in a dense fog of alcohol, what could the strong drops not do for them and their students?
Another round is Thomas Vinterberg’s acclaimed drama with Mads Mikkelsen in the lead. The film won an Oscar for Best International Film and was also nominated for the Best Director award.
