Bio i parken 2017
Bio i parken is an outdoor cinema that is arranged by Umeå European Film Festival. Bio i parken will take place in Döbelns park Umeå on friday the 18th of august.
The evening starts at 21.00 with short films and at around 21.30 the feature film will start. This years feature is Dröm vidare by Rojda Sekersöz.

Mirja must find her place after serving jail time. When she gets a job as a hotel cleaner she starts living a dubbel life. She’s torn between her sick mother and her old friend, who has always been her real family.
The short films: Sickla (Oscar Byström, Sweden, 2016, 8 min, swedish with english subtitles)
A personal portrait of a fifteen year old Ghananian boy named Emmanuel. Despite being handicapped from child labor he has a positive view upon life, and we get to hear his inner thoughts about the present, the future and the world outside the orphanage. Winner of ’Storspoven’ at UEFF 2016.
Meet me in Holmsund (Victor Lindgren, Sweden, 2016, 15 min, swedish with english subtitles)
Sabina has travelled from Romania to Holmsund, northern Sweden, to find a job with her brothers. Elin has just finished school and is enjoying the first day of the summer holidays. That evening they meet, and it’s a meeting that lasts forever.
