UEFF at Bildmuseet

Last years’ successful concept with screenings at Bildmuseet will be repeated during this year! Only a beautiful walk along the river we will have three screenings in ‘Flexhallen’ at Bildmuseet. All screenings at Bildmuseet have free admission.

Audiovisuals at Art Friday
Umeå European Film Festival visits the Art Friday at Bildmuseet. For this evening we invite Peter Sundqvist (Videoapelsin), who during the evening will show his installation 2109 and front the audiovisual work The cold quiet country.

Saturday 1st December 14:00
Creative workshop and family movie
Bildmuseet’s art workshop is this Saturday inspired by the wonderful animated film Ernest & Celestine. Both before and after the film you are welcome to create. We draw, play with shadows and make simple animations.

Sunday 2nd December 14:00
Occupied Cinema
A documentary by the Serbian film director and activist Senka Domanović on the occupation of the closed and privatised cinema Zvezda in Belgrade. The screening is followed by a conversation (30 min) between the Domanović and Johan Örestig, senior lecturer at Umeå University and one of the editors of the journal Fronesis.
