Youth Pass

f you’re between 15 and 19 years old, you can pick up a Youth Pass valid throughout the Umeå Film Festival. With the pass, you can watch as many films as you want during the entire festival week.

Starting Monday, November 17, you can collect your Youth Pass at the ticket counter of Folkets Bio Umeå in Kulturhuset Väven (4th floor, next to the Museum of Women’s History). Please bring an ID to verify your age. You’ll receive a physical festival pass to wear around your neck. With the pass, you can collect tickets for screenings at any of the festival’s box offices from the moment you’ve picked it up. You can also book tickets via our website and then collect them in person by showing your Youth Pass as payment. The pass is personal, and when entering the cinema, you need to show it along with your ticket.

The Youth Pass also includes a special meetup with us! On Thursday, November 27 at 17:00, everyone who has collected a Youth Pass is invited for pizza. We’ll gather by the entrance to Vävenscenen on the 1st floor of Väven, near the restaurant Kajen. After the pizza hangout, we’ll take a short behind-the-scenes tour to the projection room at Vävenscenen — then we’ll all head in together to watch No Other Choice on Vävenscenen.
