The fact that we show children’s films during film festivals is nothing new, but in recent years we have tried to bring in more films for the whole family and broaden the section. We often show children’s films at the Bildmuseet with free admission, some newly produced family films at Vävenscenen – maybe there will be a premiere party. Everyone should feel welcome at the Umeå Film Festival!
