In connection with the screening, a conversation with author Annelie Jordahl will take place at Kajscenen. Questions of love, motherhood, class and women’s place in society are explored through the ideas of Ellen Key, the subject of Jordahl’s latest book. These themes are also present in Bo Widerberg’s The Baby Carriage. Ellen Key formulated ideals around relationships and motherhood, while the film explores how these ideals play out in real life.

Tickets for the film screening and the author talk must be collected separately at the Kulturreceptionen. Tickets will be released on 31 October. A booking link will be available on this page from that date.
