Post Truth is the first feature-length documentary to have been created entirely with the help of AI. The film explores our relationship with technology and how we have arrived at a time when truth and reality seem to have lost their significance.
Through an abundance of information, images and cultural contradictions, the film portrays a present in which the boundary between what is real and what is fabricated is becoming increasingly difficult to discern. The film uses the same AI-generated language and imagery that it seeks to understand and critique, thereby becoming part of the phenomenon it examines. Post Truth raises questions about how we perceive reality – and what happens when we can no longer be certain of what we see.
