Tatjana Samopjan
Tatjana is a lecturer who explores the relationship between storytelling, science, technology, music, spirituality, social dynamics, philosophy, and real-life experiences.

Arne Goes to Space
Presented by director Lars Vega and editor Cecilie Marie Damsgård
An alien crash-lands in Älvsbyn, Norrbotten, and ends up in the home of two brothers. Starring Rolf Lassgård and Lennart Jähkel.
The Watchmaker
Presented by director Jonas Lawes
Two young thieves seek help from a reluctant watchmaker to repair a stolen pocket watch. The Watchmaker is a tense psychological chamber piece filmed in Skellefteå, featuring Olle Sarri and Otto Fahlgren in leading roles.
No One Owns You (Dig Äger Ingen)
Presented by director Agnes Koskinen and producer Sofie Häkkinen
A coming-of-age story filmed in Ostrobothnia, following 18-year-old Alicia, a competitive swimmer. The film takes place over a single day in the Finnish archipelago.

Started the EU project Växthus Film, which represented a major step forward for film production in Västerbotten.

Jason is an art director and production designer with a career spanning both major blockbusters and indie productions. Among his most acclaimed works are visually groundbreaking films such as Black Panther, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth.

We are delighted to invite you to celebrate Film i Västerbotten’s 30th anniversary! For three decades, we have together helped to develop filmmaking and film culture in Västerbotten. Now it’s time to celebrate, remember the journey, and look to the future. Take the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, share memories, and create new ones!
The evening will feature a welcome mingle with bubbly and snacks, the Umeå Film Festival Short Film Award Storspoven, the School Cinema Audience Award, the Film Hero Grant, a toast to film life in Västerbotten, and of course, great company!
The party is open to everyone over 18 who wants to celebrate!
