Robot was created to give Celeste a safe upbringing and the opportunity to become the scientist she is today. When Celeste graduates and receives her first assignment in outer space, Robot is left alone on Earth. As Robot struggles with loneliness and longing, Celeste faces her own challenges—completing her mission while yearning to return home.

Told almost entirely without dialogue, the film marks DJ Kid Koala’s feature debut and had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival 2025. This is a special preview screening of Space Cadet, which will have its Swedish theatrical release in spring 2026.
