In her directorial debut, Tia Kouvo shows a masterful touch, crafting an insightful and precise family drama where humor and the everyday struggles of human connection shine through as different generations try to understand each other.

Family Time received 11 Jussinominations and won in the categories of Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay—unsurprisingly, it is Finland’s submission for the 2024 Oscars.
