Even before last year’s festival had ended, work on the 2025 program had already begun. The festival office, external working groups, and active members of the association have been scouting films at various festivals and selecting titles that will soon be revealed in this year’s program magazine. Of course, we want to celebrate with all cinephiles and festival veterans in Umeå as soon as the magazines arrive, which will be on Wednesday, November 5th.

This year, we’re delighted to host the program release event together with our friends at Galleri Verkligheten. There will be a quiz, speeches, merch, and festivities. Special prices on five-ticket passes and great quiz prizes are also promised!
