The Palestinian cousins Chatila and Reda find themselves stranded in Athens without passports. Through various tricks and dishonest methods, they try to save up money for forged documents in order to continue their journey westward. While Reda struggles to keep his addiction under control, they repeatedly end up in situations where they lose both time and money. To a Land Unknown is based on a true story and portrays, in a raw and uncompromising way, the daily life of refugees and their fight for survival. A film not to be missed – blending thriller, love story, and unexpected humor into 86 intense minutes.
