This year, 18 short films are competing for Storspoven, Umeå Film Festival’s award for films with a strong connection to the North. The films are presented in the Northern Perspective section and judged by an external jury. The winner receives a grant of SEK 25,000 and a Storspoven sculpture created by artist Arvid Snidare. The award ceremony takes place at Kajen on Friday evening, between 19:00 and 20:00.
